Welcome to the South Wisconsin District website! Our mission in South Wisconsin is to "connect, resource, and equip God’s people for bold witness to the Gospel of our Lord Jesus."
Whether you are looking for specific information or merely surfing the web, we pray that you are blessed by your time with us on this site.
There are a couple of Scripture passages that I encourage you to think about as you read through the information on this website. They are passages that define who we are as Missouri Synod Lutherans:
- 1 Peter 2:9, "You are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light."
- Philippians 1:4-6, "In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus."
- Jude 1:22-23, "Be merciful to those who doubt; snatch others from the fire and save them."
May our Lord bless you with his forgiveness and with opportunities for "bold witness to the Gospel!"
